Mr. Jeffrey A. Ashkenase has worked at GNYHA Services since 2004. Mr. Ashkenase's areas provide the information and analytics necessary to support the GNYHA Services regional contracting effort; they also provide the information and analytics the field force uses to assist our members to maximize the value of the GNYHA Services Group Purchasing Program. He is also responsible for deploying the GNYHA Services/Premier/GHX contract management technology to the member hospitals. Mr Ashkenase has worked in the health care industry for more than 10 years in non-profit, managed care, group purchasing, and government settings. Throughout his career, he has been responsible for managing costs, system implementations, optimizing the supply chain, and improving the decision support and budgeting process through the use of technology. Prior to joining GNYHA Services, he was an Associate Vice President of Finance at Maimonides Medical Center where his responsibilities included overseeing the budget, decision support department and materials management. and business information systems. Mr. Ashkenase earned his B.A. from SUNY Albany and his Masters from the NYU Wagner School.
Mr. Martin Glick joined GNYHA Services in the fall of 2006. Mr. Glick’s areas are responsible for providing the information and analytics necessary to support the GNYHA Services regional contracting effort and the information and analytics the field force uses to assist our members to maximize the value of the GNYHA Services Group Purchasing Program. Mr. Glick previously worked with the North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System for over twelve years in various areas of health care administration, including finance, internal audit, and supply chain. Most recently he served as Assistant Vice President of Procurement Analytics, where he oversaw supply chain business intelligence for the Health System. Mr. Glick earned his BBA in Accounting from Hofstra University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Ms. Lisa Fishelberg has worked at GNYHA Services since 2005. Ms. Fishelberg is primarily responsible for deploying the GNYHA Services/Premier/GHX contract management technology to the member hospitals. She also provides information and analytics necessary to support the GNYHA Services regional contracting and field force efforts, therefore, maximizing the value of the GNYHA Services Group Purchasing Program. As an experienced health care manager, she has been responsible for the operations management, financial growth, strategic planning, and business development of health care organizations. Key strengths include health care management, technology development, and program expansions. Ms. Fishelberg earned her B.S. in Social Sciences at SUNY Binghamton, NY and her M.H.A. in Healthcare Administration from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, NC.
Ms. Erin Cummings has worked with GNYHA Services since 2002. Ms. Cummings is responsible for overseeing the volume and fee reporting and planning for the Group Purchasing program, as well as managing the GNYHA Services affiliation agreements. Before joining GNYHA Services, Ms. Cummings worked as a Buyer/Planner for Melles Griot Optical System. Ms. Cummings earned her B.S. from Binghamton University School of Management.
Mr. Babu Paturi is a Project Manager in GNYHA’s Business Intelligence Group. He has empowered GNYHA Services members with market-leading contract management solutions and processes resulting in measurable supply chain savings. Mr. Paturi has proven technology, consulting, and change management experience with a Big Five Consulting Firm and ORACLE where he implemented supply chain solutions at Fortune 500 clients under aggressive timelines. He has a unique ability to connect with different organizational levels and inspire the human change needed to make technology effective. Mr. Paturi earned his Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University in Michigan.
Mr. Sam Varughese has been working at GNYHA Services since June 2000. He started as a Financial Analyst engaging in putting together business reviews, cost savings analyses, market baskets, and other similar projects. Since then, he has taken on the role as Field Service Contract Analyst supporting Client Service Executives to fulfill GNYHA Services business initiatives. He assists multiple GNYHA Services Member facilities in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Long Island, and in New Jersey to identify cost reduction opportunities. He also aides facilities in doing price activations, answers contract inquiries, and various purchasing related issues. Prior to GNYHA Services, he worked for The New York Metropolitan Opera in managing their membership and prior to that, he was a pharmacy technician for Thriftway Pharmacy.
Mr. Eric Wiener has worked at GNYHA Services since 2004. Mr. Wiener is currently responsible for managing and implementing medical surgical contracts at strategic accounts by way of the latest technology, available to all GNYHA Services/Premier members. Along with these responsibilities, he is a strong member of the GNYHA Services field force, assisting Client Service Executives at key member accounts in New York and New Jersey. Mr. Wiener has earned a B.B.A. from Iona College with a concentration in Information Technology and is an active member of AHRMM.
Mr. Daniel Munoz-Tobon started working for GNYHA Services as a Senior Financial Analyst August 2007. Previously, Mr. Munoz-Tobon worked at the Purchasing and Materiels Department in South Florida at one of the largest IDNs in the country. He brings more than seven years of experience in supply chain, manufacturing, purchasing, and planning.
Mr. Robert Wenzel joined GNYHA Services in October of 2006 as a Senior Financial Analyst. Mr. Wenzel's responsibilities include managing the day-to-day analytic reporting for GNYHA Services Client Services, Regional Contracting, and member facilities. Prior to joining GNYHA Services, Mr. Wenzel was a Corporate Bond Trader at AIG. Mr. Wenzel earned his B.S. in Psychology and Minor in Political Science from Fairfield University.
Mr. Ross D. Roberts has worked as a Financial Analyst at GNYHA Services since 2006. Mr. Roberts' area provides the information and analytics necessary to support the GNYHA Services regional contracting effort and the Client Service field force who assist our members in maximizing the value of the GNYHA Services Group Purchasing Program. He also contributes to the regional contracting effort at GNYHA Services, with responsibilities related to all dietary contracts. He earned his B.A. from the Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University.
Ms. Aisha Holmes began her career in GNYHA Services in June 2006 as a Financial Analyst in the Business Intelligence unit of GNYHA Services. Ms. Holmes earned her B.S. with honors of cum laude and her Master’s Degree in Business Management from Monroe College.
Ms. Deanna Lowe has been a part of the GNYHA Services team since 2007. Her responsibilities include conducting daily analytics to demonstrate to member hospitals their full potential in savings. Prior to her current position, she held the position of Supply Chain Analyst at Harley Davidson and Project Manager at Ed Venture Partners. She earned her B.A. with honors in Business Administration, with a concentration in Supply Chain Management, from Clark Atlanta University.
Mr. Greg Lowe joined GNYHA Services as a Financial Analyst in March of 2007. Mr. Lowe's duties include internal and external analytics reporting for GNYHA Services Client Services and member facilities. Mr. Lowe earned a B.S. in Health Services Administration from James Madison University in 2006.
Ms. Sarah Neubert began her career with GNYHA Services in April 2007. Ms. Neubert is responsible for assisting member hospitals in identifying cost savings in partnership with one of the nation’s leading group purchasing organizations. Ms. Neubert holds a B.A. in Sociology and a M.H.A. in Healthcare Administration from Bellevue University (Bellevue, NE).
