2011 GNYHA Services Fall Member Meeting
The 2011 Fall Member Meeting was held on November 10 at the New York Marriott Marquis. For the first time, we combined the Fall Member Meeting with our New York Pharmacy Committee Meeting, allowing the entire GNYHA Services family to be together at this annual event. This meeting also included an educational track specifically designed for C-suite/Finance professionals in addition to our annual supply chain and clinical sessions. Session topics included Supply Chain Best Practices, Maximizing Your Supply Chain Data, Understanding the Elements of an Effective Blood Management Program, CMMI Bundled Payment for Care Improvement Initiatives, An Introduction to Global Sourcing, Physician-Driven Value Analysis—Best Practices from the Field, The Modern-Day CFO—Best Practices for Adjusting to Current Financial Challenges, Drug Shortage Update, and Conversation Critical: Effectively Communicating When it Matters Most.
2010 GNYHA Services Fall Member Meeting
The 2010 Fall Member Meeting was held on November 10, 2010 at The Westin New York at Times Square. The theme of the day was, "The Collaboration Blueprint for 2011." The meeting took members through a series of informational sessions geared toward transformation and collaboration between the C-suite, supply chain executives, and clinicians in the year ahead. Session topics included Using Evidence to Reduce Cost, The Transformation of the Supply Chain Role, Revenue Cycle Management, Healthcare 2010, and more.
2009 GNYHA Services Fall Member Meeting
The GNYHA Services, Inc. 2009 Fall Member Meeting was held on November 12, 2009 at the Museum of Arts and Design in New York City. The meeting’s theme was “The Impact of Reform: Creating Solutions for a Better Tomorrow.” The educational event took members through a series of related topics including the state of health care reform, Premier’s strategies for success in a time of reform, physician alignment, GNYHA Services’ service delivery transformation, and an update on the GPO industry’s advocacy efforts.
2008 GNYHA Services, Inc. Fall Member Meeting
The GNYHA Services, Inc. Fall 2008 Member Meeting was held on November 19, 2008 and focused on health care and the economy. The educational event took members through a series of related topics ranging from the Association's direction on helping members through this difficult time, to the current contracting strategies of Premier and GNYHA Services as the cost of raw materials rise.
